Manuel Morante
Practice Areas: Manuel Morante is an attorney who mainly practices intellectual property law, international law, administrative law and advertising law. Career: He has ample experience in the academic field. He has taught at the Law Faculty at the Universidad Iberoamericana. Currently he is an adjunct professor of Comparative Law at the Law Faculty of the Universidad Panamericana, where he has taught courses in State Theory, Political Science and Theories of Justice. He joined Arochi, Marroquín & Lindner in March 2004, where he provides consultancy on trademark law and other distinctive signs, patent law focused primarily on pharmaceutical patents related to health law, advertising law and promotions, administrative law, international intellectual property law and international public law. He directs the “Mariano Marroquín Maurer” Library, which has the most important intellectual property law collection in Mexico. He is an active member of the Legal Affairs Committee of AmCham, the Legislation Commission of AMPPI and of the Trademark Reporter Committee of INTA. Academic: Doctorate in Law from the law Faculty of the Universidad Panamericana (UP) (thesis in progress). Degree in Law from the Law Faculty from the same university (1997). Philosophical Anthropology Graduate from the Philosophy Faculty of the UP (2002).
