Career: She has experience in trademark and patent prosecution and litigation, as well as intellectual property business transactions. Her experience includes the areas of advertising, commercial information and consumer protection issues where she provides assessment regarding promotions, contests, sweepstakes, warranties, labeling requirements, the viability of advertising through any media and combating unfair competition in advertising, both before self-regulating as well as governmental bodies.

Academic: Degree in Law from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (2007). Master in Intellectual Property Law from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (center jointly run by the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property and Competition Law, the University of Augsburg, the Technische Universität München, and The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C.) (Germany, 2009).
