Career: He worked in various positions at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), most recently as Coordinator of the Electrical Area. He has ten years of experience in patent matters. At AM&L, he takes part in drafting applications, and the filing, prosecution and maintenance thereof. As well as in the drafting of technical opinions regarding non-invasiveness, patentability and litigation. He is specialized in intellectual property fields such as the electronic, electrical, computer programs and business methods. He has given various courses to inventors, companies and members of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI), such as: "Patentability criteria for computer programs and business methods", "Computer implemented inventions", “Patent application drafting course”, among others. He participated in the creation of the criteria regarding computer programs and business methods at IMPI and in the training of new examiners who carry out the substantive examination of patents.

Academic: Intellectual Property Courses at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the European Patent Office (EPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
